- How much money can I save on my dental treatment in Hungary? Around 50-60% of the costs in the UK!
- Do dentist and assistants speak English at the dental clinic? Our doctors, implantolog and personnel speak several languages,including English and German.
- Can I pay in British pounds for my dental treatment and accomodation in Hungary? Yes. We accept payments in British pounds both at the dental clinic and at the pension.
- When do I have to pay my dental bill? We need 50% deposit at the beginning of the dental treatment an the remaining sum should be payed by the end of the dental treatment. Implants and surgical treatments should be payed on the day of the treatment.
- Who else goes to Hungary for dental treatment? Every year, several thousand Swiss, Austrians and Germans, as well as hundreds of Italians and other Western European patients come to Hungary for dental treatment.
- What are your guarantee conditions? There is a written guarantee for crowns, bridges (5 years), inlays (5 years) fixed parts of the combinend restotations (5years)fixed detachable case and implants (5years), fillings (2 year).
- How long do I have to stay in Hungary? Usually for a week. Some dental treatments may require more time, in which case the patient is usually recommended to stay for about 10 days. These treatments are: combined restorations and implants and their suprastructures.
- What can I get done in a week? If no complications occur the dentist can complete a bridgework of 10-12 crowns, inlays and, additionally, a couple of fillings.The surgeon can make a bone filling and plant implants. It also depends on whether there is an inflammation and how the patient reacts to the treatment. You will get a treatment plan after the first consultation with your dentist.
- What kind of materials are used in Hungary? The same materials are used in Hungary as in the UK or in Western Europe, from Germany, Austria or Switzerland
- What happens if I am allergic to metal? The most frequent allergies occur from nickel and palladium. However, these two metals have not been used by dental technicians for about 10 years. If you are allergic to any metal, please inform your dentist about it. The most common alternative is bio-gold or titanium or the metal-free cercon.
- Do I need any special insurance for my travel to Hungary? We recommend you to contact your insurance agent regarding all travel risks. |
